About Mataji & her Temple

Mataji's mandir has five idols. The first idol from the right side is of Kala Bhairuji. Second from right is Badhar Mataji, then third from right is Gora Bhairuji, then Brahmani Mataji and the one on the camel is Rebari Bhairuji.

Our Kuldevi is Shri Badhar Mataji, her younger sister is Brahmani Mataji, two brothers Kala and Gora Bhairuji. Rebari Bhairuji is a part of the temple as a guest.

Mataji is usually served with sweets like laapsi, churma, kheer, gulgule, sweet curd etc. Mataji does not prefer being served in anything that has to do with silver.

On top of the temple, a 10 feet high flag is visible, even from a distance. This flag is changed from Sunday to Sunday, depending upon the availability. Mataji's clothes are changes every Saturday.

Sunday is Mataji's main day. Tuesday and Saturday are also believed to be auspicious days here. In both Navratris, that is Chaitra and Ashwin, the festival is celebrated publically at Mataji's temple.
